1 THE FINE PRESENTER A basic or introductory program. The Fine Presenter gives participants the opportunity to learn and practice some of the basic steps in planning and delivering a fine presentation. It introduces ways to manage the elements of a presentation and how to use The Documentary Approach. It includes time for individual presentations, some coaching, and a CD of the final presentations with guidelines for further review and development. Reference and resource materials (printed and digital) are included, with assistance by email and phone when it is needed. 2 PROFESSIONAL PRESENTER The Professional Presenter is designed for participants with some presentation experience. It will enable you to improve the way you deliver a report or conference paper, present recommendations, sell services, promote products or new ideas and explain concepts. You will learn how to use business narrative and images in a sophisticated way. You will practice ways to engage the imagination and minds of your audience. With the support of Canon, you will have access to a range of presentation technology. You may borrow a digital camera, a scanner or portable printer - and you will have access to reference materials from our extensive library. 3 ACCOMPLISHED PRESENTER This program is designed for those who have considerable experience delivering presentations. You will develop greater awareness of your personal style and ways to influence your audience. You can practice and test your ability to deal with difficult questions and defend your position; you'll learn a strategy for delivering your key message when you have less time than you thought and learn how to let go of PowerPoint (or Keynote) as a crutch or message pad. You'll receive a digital movie of your final presentation which includes your response to questions from the other participants and Terry Lane. 4 POWERPOINT, TECHNOLOGY AND PRESENTATIONS This program could help you avoid mistakes which are costly to your reputation and budget. The agenda is designed around the most common software (PowerPoint) and technology you will need to use. For example: digital projectors, touch screen controls, cameras or the lot! It is practical, enjoyable and will give you The Knowledge so you can feel more confident and capable in conference, business or educational presentations. How Does it Work? 6 DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY Terry Lane brings to the group fifty years experience with a camera and in the darkroom, together with the knowledge and expertise he has gained from several years of testing and reviewing new cameras, accessories and software.
